"What are they working on Now?"

We always have something in the works. From fixing up an old appliance to building a smoker. You never know what our next project will be.
We have always enjoyed doing things like this. Sometimes the project will get set aside for a while. Maybe even for years but we usually get back to it.

Here are a few of our past projects and some that are still in the works.

This is my 57 Chevy. My good friend David found this truck with me in mind about 8 years ago. I took a look at it and fell in love. It was brought to me on the back of a trailer in many pieces. I have worked on it but not as much as I should. Its hard to work on a truck when you use it everyday. This is a work in progress.

OZ

This is a Smoker that I just got finished building for the back yard. It operates on LP gas and produces fantastic smoked meats. I hope to make a few improvements on it soon but it works just fine right now. Bonnie affectionately calls it OZ. She says it reminds her of something you would see in The Wizard of Oz

Electric Stove

This is a Universal Electric stove we found at Florida Twin Markets in Mt. Dora Fl.
It is in need of some repair but I think it would be great to get it working again. We can find info on the universal electric company but are having a hard time finding anything about this style stove. We think it is from the late 30's but not real sure. If anyone out there has any info it would be greatly appreciated

1940 GE

This 1940 GE refrigerator was found by my son and I several years back at a thrift store in Deland Fl.
It had allot of surface rust on it and I was not sure I wanted to take on the job of cleaning it up at the time. My son managed to talk me into buying it. We worked on it that afternoon and by that evening we had it painted and running. We have used it ever since as a spare fridge on the back porch and of coarse to hold my beer and soda.
Thanks B.J.!
I am glad you talked me into buying it.

The Chicken Tractor

Here is a Chicken tractor Bonnie and I built. It has really worked out great. The wheels are pulled down by cables as the handle on the pen is lifted. We move our chickens to a new part of the back yard every 3 weeks or so. They love the ride!

Just run your mouse over the picture and the short video clip should start.

BBQ Shed

Bonnie and I built this shed so we would have some cover from the afternoon sun and sometimes rain.
We are not yet finished with it but it is coming along fine. Solar panels that are on the roof power any of our electrical needs in this shed. We cook outdoors about 4 times a week so it is going to get allot of use.

1965 Scotty

This is our new........old trailer before and after a little TLC.

Hopefully more projects will be posted at a later date. Thanks for looking!
